Overall Renting Guide

Finding and renting the perfect piece for your set, shoot, or event is simple.

Written by Setcircle Help

Rental periods are weekly.
Setcircle rentals are priced and invoiced on a weekly basis. Each weekly rental includes up to 8 total days: a 7-day rental period plus an additional 1-day grace period for returns.

You are welcome to rent an item for less than a week — even as little as one day — but the weekly rental price will still apply. You may select any rental length up to 8 days without being charged more than one week.

Users can view and rent items as early as the next day, depending on owner availability and approval.

Example: If you pick up your order on a Thursday, selecting a rental period through the following Friday will be priced as one weekly rental: 7 rental days plus your 1-day grace period.

What to expect

  • Items are listed by independent owners and may vary in condition

  • Listing photos and descriptions reflect the current state of the item

  • Renters are responsible for returning items in the same condition they were received

1. Discover the right piece

Browse thousands of props and decor from trusted creatives and vendors.
Use filters to narrow by dates, category, size, price, and location to find exactly what fits your vision.

Need inspiration? Explore Staff Picks, New Arrivals, and Popular Props on our homepage.

2. Request your booking

Once you’ve found the right item, select your rental dates and submit a booking request. Secure your rental with a credit card—you’ll only be charged once the owner approves your booking.
Owners typically respond within 24 hours.

Need to cancel? We’ve got you covered:

  • ✔️ More than 24 hours before your rental start: Your authorization will be voided and returned within 2–3 business days

  • 🚫 Within 24 hours of the rental start: A fee of up to 100% may be charged

  • 🚫 No-show (no cancellation + no pickup): You will be charged the full rental amount

3. Pickup & return — coordinate with the owner

Once your request is approved, use Setcircle messaging to align on pickup details, timing, and logistics.

Pickup locations vary by listing and will be shared after booking confirmation.

Setcircle reserves the right to charge renters a late fee if items are not returned by the end of the final day of their booking. Please view our Rental Late Fee Policy for more information.

4. Complete your rental

After returning the item, both sides help keep the community running smoothly:

  • Leave a review to share your experience and support other creatives

  • The owner will complete a condition report, including photos if needed, to document any damages

If any issues arise, our team will work directly with both parties to resolve them.
